A glassy, blue to violet mineral, barium titanium silicate (BaTi(siO3)3), found in San Benito, United States. It forms hexagonal system tabular, triangular crystals and is a valuable gem when transparent and without flaws. Hardness 6–6.5, relative density 3.6.
