drywall rip saw
A saw designed for making large cuts in wallboard, gypsum, and backing board,
such as carving out doorways and windows. A drywall rip saw is the drywall
equivalent of a carpenter's rough-cut handsaw.
A good alternative to a a drywall rip saw is a router. This not only cuts
faster but can also follow a pattern. Related category
