Fornax Dwarf
A dwarf spheroidal galaxy that
orbits the Milky Way at a distance of about 450,000 light-years from the
galactic center; it lies in the constellation Fornax.
Discovered in 1938, at the same time as the Sculptor
Dwarf, it has a mass of about 20 million solar masses and has at least
six globular clusters orbiting it.
