gonadotrophin-releasing hormone



A peptide hormone responsible for the release of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) from the anterior pituitary gland. Gonadotrophin-releasing hormone is synthesized and released by the hypothalamus.
