Limestone pavement above Malham Cove, Yorkshire
An enlarged vertical crack in an area of bare limestone formed by solution along joints. The resulting blocks of limestome are called clints and the two features together form a limestone pavement. In the UK, examples can be seen near Malham, North Yorkshire.
