Huggins, Charles Brenton (1901–1997)




Charles Huggins
US physician who shared with Francis Rous the 1966 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for his pioneering work in cancer chemotherapy and his development of ways of investigating and treating cancers through the use of hormones.
