A remote-controlled submarine of the type that is expected to be deployed eventually on Europa (see Europa, future probes). Hydrobots will be released into the sub-surface liquid ocean that may exist on Europa, where they will image their surroundings, take a variety of measurements of their physical and chemical environment, and search for possible forms of life.
