incarnation and redemption
A concern of theologians for centuries has been that the discovery of intelligent life on other worlds might have serious implications for Christian doctrines, especially those of the incarnation and redemption. In recent times this problem has been addressed, among others, by Edward A. Milne and E. L. Mascall.
