    MUSES- (Mu Space Engineering Satellites)

    The prelaunch designation of a series of missions implemented by Japan’s ISAS (Institute of Space and Astronautical Science) to pioneer new satellite technologies, including lunar flyby, aerobraking, large structure deployment, and asteroid rendezvous and sample return. Members of the series include Hiten (MUSES-A), HALCA (MUSES-B) , and Hayabusa (MUSES-C).
