Minot, George Richards (1885–1950)



American physician who shared with W. Murphy and G. Whipple the 1934 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for his work with Murphy showing daily consumption of large quantities of raw liver to be an effective treatment for pernicious anemia.
