Plateau curves

A set of curves, named after Joseph Plateau, that are described by the parametric equations:
x = a sin(m + n)t / sin(m - n)t,
y = 2a sin(mt) sin(nt) / sin(m - n)t.
If m = 2n the Plateau curves become a circle with a center at (1, 0) and a radius of 2.
