Rockwell



A major US aerospace company that was taken over by Boeing in 1996. It had evolved in 1966 from the merger of North American Aviation and Rockwell Standard to form North American Rockwell, which changed its name to Rockwell International in 1973. Rockwell is best known for having developed and built the Space Shuttle Orbiter.
