    SERENDIP II

    Thousands of times more powerful than its predecessor, SERENDIP I, this second phase of Berkeley's SERENDIP program ran from 1986 to 1988 and was primarily located at the 92-m (300-ft.) radio telescope at Green Bank. It was capable of searching 65,000 channels simultaneously.
