A member of the Apollo group of Earth-crossing
asteroids, discovered by Carl Wirtanen in 1948 and rediscovered in 1964,
whose closest approach takes it within 0.13 AU of Earth. Radar observations
indicate a rocky surface, thinly covered with dust.
