    Zuckerman, Benjamin M.

    Professor of astronomy at the University of California, Los Angeles, whose work is centered on the search for evidence, in the form of circumstellar gas, dust, and brown dwarfs, of extrasolar planetary systems. Together with colleagues from UCLA and the U.K., he has produced images of dust disks around the stars Vega, Fomalhaut and Beta Pictoris.
