largoadagioandantemoderato – allegro – presto

Allegro is a tempo indication that a musical piece or movement is to be played lively and fast; it lies between moderato and presto. Allegro, which means "merry" in Italian, is also sometimes used as the title of a movement of a composition – especially the first or last movements. Allegretto means pretty lively but not so much as allegro. Very quick and lively is denoted by allegrissimo.
