A special hammer for chipping and setting bricks and cement blocks. It has
a square, flat face on one side of the head for hammering and a long chisel
on the other side for chipping. It typically weighs 16 to 24 ounces and
has a wooden, steel, or fiberglass handle. Bricklayer's hammers are also
known as mason's hammers. They and rock picks are also used as geology rock
hammers.
