peninsula fireplace
A fireplace that has three sides of glass, which is built into a half or partial wall. Two of the glass sides are longer than the third. A peninsula fireplace serves as a focal point of a room and allows the fire to be clearly seen from any direction. See also bay fireplace, corner fireplace, and island fireplace.
