solar hot water for agriculture

Agricultural operations such as dairy, animal processing and food processing require large quantities of heated water for cleaning and sterilization. Solar water heating can be cost-effective at supplying up to half of this heating load, especially for operations that do not have natural gas, because the heating loads are very large. System sizes can be 20–200 m2 in collector area.
