Blue Snowball Nebula (NGC 7662)
A planetary nebula in the west of the constellation Andromeda, 2.5° west-southwest of the star Iota Andromedae. One of the easiest planetaries to observe with small instruments, it appears blue-green and has a very faint central star that is variable with a magnitude range of 12 to 16. The image shown here was obtained by the Hubble Space Telescope.
