Eunomia family (of asteroids)
A small family of S-class and C-class
asteroids that orbit in the middle of the main asteroid
belt at a mean distance from the Sun of 2.6 to 2.7 AU and a mean inclination
of 12°. The prototype and largest member is 15 Eunomia, discovered in
1851 by Annibale de Gasparis (1819–92) in Naples.
