Hounsfield, Godfrey Newbold (1919–2004)



Godfrey Hounsfield
British engineer who was co-recipient of the 1979 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for his contribution to the development of computer-assisted tomography, also called computed tomography scanning.
