interstellar radio message

Only a handful of messages have been intentionally beamed from Earth toward other stars and star clusters in an attempt to make contact with extraterrestrial civilizations. Of these, the bulk have been sent from the Evpatoria Space Center in the Ukraine by a group under the direction of Alexander Zaitsev. The table below shows the expected times at which the three Evpatoria messages sent to date will arrive at various target stars. Details for the Arecibo Message are included for comparison. Also see CETI.
