Kuhn, Richard (1900–1967)

Richard Kuhn
Richard Kuhn was a German chemist who shared the 1938 Nobel Prize in Chemistry with Paul Karrer for his work on the carotenoids and vitamins, in particular the isolation of vitamin B2. He was forced by the Nazis to refuse the award and did not receive it after World War II.
