Microlensing Planet Search Project

The Microlensing Planet Search (MPS) Project is a project affiliated with the Global Microlensing Alert Network (GMAN) to observe microlensing events that are in progress for light variations that might be caused by exoplanets. MPS uses the 1.9-meter (6.2-foot) telescope at the Mount Stromlo Observatory, Australia, and the 1.5-meter- (4.9-foot) telescope at the Boyden Observatory, South Africa. Presently, MPS involves collaborators from the University of Notre Dame, the University of Washington, and the Mount Stromlo Observatory.
