Karl Friedrich Mohr

Karl Mohr was a German chemist, the foremost pharmacist of his time in Germany. Mohr improved analytical techniques and invented many items of laboratory equipment. He was also among the first to advance the idea of conservation of energy (in 1837). In 1867 he became professor of chemistry at the University of Bonn.
