A stony meteorite of the rare type known as diogenites, which fell about 2.5 miles northeast of the village of Foum Tatahouine, Tunisa. The meteorite exploded, prior to hitting the ground, into numerous fragments, most of which are now in museums in Chicago, India, and Paris.
