National Radio Astronomy Observatory

The National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) is a collection of radio astronomy facilities owned by the American government and administered on behalf of the US National Science Foundation by Associated Universities, Inc., a consortium of nine universities. NRAO facilities include Green Bank, the Very Large Array, the Very Long Baseline Array, and the future Atacama Large Millimeter Array. Its headquarters are in Charlottesville, Virginia.
