Exos- (Japanese satellites)
The prelaunch designation of a series of satellites built by Japan’s ISAS (Institute of Space and Astronautical Science) to investigate Earth’s upper atmosphere. This series includes Exos-A (Kyokko), Exos-B (Jikiken), Exos-C (Ohzora), and Exos-D (Akebono).
