Giulio Natta

Giulio Natta was an Italian chemist who shared the 1963 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, with Karl Ziegler, for their synthesis of polymers of propene (one of the alkenes), including polypropene. These propene polymers have industrially desirable properties such as high melting point and strength.
