Polyot



The name of a variety of a Russian spacecraft, launch vehicles, and space organizations; "Polyot" means "flight." 1) Polyot-1, launched on Nov. 1, 1963, was the first satellite capable of maneuvering in space. 2) Design bureau (NPO Polyot). 3) Launch vehicle based on the Cosmos-3M.
