Roux, Pierre Paul Émile (1853–1933)

Pierre Roux was a French bacteriologist noted for his work with Louis Pasteur toward a successful anthrax treatment, with Metchnikov on syphilis, and with Yersin on diphtheria. Using Roux' and Yersin's results, von Behring was able to develop the dipheria antitoxin.
