Wolszczan, Alexander (1943–)


Alexander Wolszczan
Professor of astronomy and astrophysics at Pennsylvania State University and codiscoverer, with Dail Frail, in 1991, of the first confirmed planets beyond the solar system. These are pulsar planets in orbit around PSR 1257+12.
