Aneroid sphygmomanometer with cuff.

A sphygmomanometer is an instrument for measuring blood pressure by determining the pressure (with a manometer) in a cuff attached around a limb needed to prevent blood flow. A stethoscope is used to hear the changing sounds over the artery as the cuff deflates.
